I know some people want to ‘disconnect’ from everything, but really… everything??? I normally spend my nights planning for the next day or two and without information, I feel like I’m stagnate. I need to look at routes, river levels and tidal flow near the coast, and potential camp spots. So basically, I spent half of my morning driving somewhere with coverage to plan the rest of the day. So, yes, poor planning on my part. I should have just fished the Umpqua all day, found a new camp spot with coverage and planned that evening. But I did not…
The best news is there was an In-n-Out Burger in Grants Pass. I know what some of you are thinking… ‘it’s not the best burger ever’. And it’s not: it’s the best fast-food burger ever. It gets oversold at times. But it’s as consistent as it comes. I ordered my standard, Double Single with cheese, no onion add pickles and was not disappointed.
