Some plans work and some do not…  My drive from Granby to Steamboat included a combination of heavy rain, fog and high winds depending on the elevation changes.  Needless to say, there would be no fishing in the spots I would have considered productive under the conditions. 

The weather finally broke and I found a great campsite at Elkhead Lake.  I was the only person in the campground with a great lake view.
