Communications\/ Information Available: Roseburg, OR, Now Grants Pass, OR"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-post-date\"><time datetime=\"2022-10-12T01:54:33-04:00\">October 12, 2022<\/time><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the fishing started off great in Colorado, it has been almost nonexistent for the last few days.\u00a0 I know it\u2019s called \u2018fishing\u2019 not \u2018catching&#8217;.\u00a0 However, now that I have started putting dates in my Blog, I have come to realize I am doing way more driving than fishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I arrived at the Umpqua River near Roseburg, OR from Bend.&nbsp; By the time I got there the sun was setting and after driving for the better part of the day, all I wanted was to set up camp and relax.&nbsp; The biggest downside\u2026&nbsp; No cell coverage, no WiFi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I know some people want to \u2018disconnect\u2019 from everything, but really\u2026 everything???&nbsp; I normally spend my nights planning for the next day or two and without information, I feel like I\u2019m stagnate.&nbsp; I need to look at routes, river levels and tidal flow near the coast, and potential camp spots.&nbsp; So basically, I spent half of my morning driving somewhere with coverage to plan the rest of the day.&nbsp; So, yes, poor planning on my part.&nbsp; I should have just fished the Umpqua all day, found a new camp spot with coverage and planned that evening.&nbsp; But I did not\u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The best news is there was an In-n-Out Burger in Grants Pass.&nbsp; I know what some of you are thinking\u2026&nbsp; \u2018it\u2019s not the best burger ever\u2019.&nbsp; And it\u2019s not: it&#8217;s the best fast-food burger ever.&nbsp;&nbsp; It gets oversold at times.&nbsp; But it\u2019s as consistent as it comes.&nbsp; I ordered my standard, Double Single with cheese, no onion add pickles and was not disappointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"568\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/livingreeltime.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-10.png?resize=580%2C568&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-834\" style=\"width:272px;height:266px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/livingreeltime.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-10.png?w=580&amp;ssl=1 580w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/livingreeltime.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-10.png?resize=300%2C294&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although the fishing started off great in Colorado, it has been almost nonexistent for the last few days.\u00a0 I know it\u2019s called \u2018fishing\u2019 not \u2018catching&#8217;.\u00a0 However, now that I have started putting dates in my Blog, I have come to realize I am doing way more driving than fishing.
